Weinland, Telegraph Canyon, Friday Mile
[DON’T BREAK IT] Wow. Even when recorded, Adam Shearer manages to murmur right in your ear and make your neck tingle. Bring on the live show. “People Like You” is a prime example of the loping, fragile songcraft Shearer's outfit Weinland deals in. Third LP Breaks in the Sun is an intimate, engrossing listen, with understated folk songs that run together perfectly without melting into homogeneity. The added draw for this show is the world premiere of the group's “I’m Sure it Helps” music video. It has a trailer and everything!
