The Pharmacy's "Stoned & Alone" Reviewed On Paste!
"Stoned & Alone is a collection of new songs as well as a handful of singles and 7-inches released over the past year. And while the result is a textured half-hour of out-there psych pop, it never quite feels like you’re listening to a single album. But if being a singles band is what they’re going for, then they do it exceptionally well." Read on at Paste.

"The Pharmacy recorded Stoned over the course of six days in their hometown of Seattle, and while themes of isolation subtly reverberate throughout, the music within showcases a band that will get you dancing — albeit while weeping in a crowd of strangers.” Listen now at MTV Hive.

The Pharmacy's New Single 'Make Me Remember' Up Now On Spin!
"Though the Pharmacy call Seattle their hometown, the power-punk threesome spent much of the past year living and writing their latest album Stoned & Alone in New Orleans. It's an effort that finds them stepping outside of their beery comfort zone, experimenting with strings and fleshing out songs (many of which were recorded back in Seattle at Jack Endino's Soundhouse studios using the same Fender amp Kurt Cobain did on 1989's Bleach) to lengths they hadn't yet before." VICE just premiered the new single off of The Pharmacy's upcoming album, Stoned & Alone, that's out in November on Old Flame Records!
"It's perfect that we're posting a premiere of "Baby Be" off of the new Pharmacy album, Stoned & Alone, which is set to come out this November, because everyone at VICE is literally dying. If a pharmacy truck could pull up and just dump out a bunch of cold meds and Kleenex boxes, we'd really like that. We really like this song too. It's like chicken soup for the soul, or whatever." Listen to it now on Vice.

Noisey Talks To Brendan From The Pharmacy About His Old Day Job

"When I heard that The Pharmacy’s drummer Brendan used to be a weed farmer, I had developed a few preconceived notions about him. Firstly, it made perfect sense that he kept postponing our meeting due to his forgetfulness and oversleeping and stuff (took two weeks and, like, eight rainchecks to make this interview happen). Two, I was pretty sure that he would have long, stoner hair, smell faintly ‘herbal,’ and throw around a lot of “yeahhhhhhhh duuuude it was totally rad’s” while relaying highlarious anecdotes from the weed farm." Read on for the full interview with Brendan over on Noisey.

Watch The Pharmacy's New Video “Pines” Premiered On Consequence Of Sound
"Seattle’s psychedelic punk outfit The Pharmacy goes vintage with their new video for “Pines”. Shot on Super 8 and 16mm film, the clip’s classic feel fits nicely with the simple joys of jamming together and hanging out by the river." Check it out on Consequence of Sound.

The Pharmacy's "Dig Your Grave" Gets A Great Review On The Owl Mag

"The beauty of the EP is that you gain insight into a band’s mission and response to what their fans want. With Dig Your Grave, The Pharmacy‘s newest EP, they’re giving their fans more of the cool psychedelic garage rock that they know and love, and as a new listener, I’m curious to hear more." Stream The Pharmacy's EP "Dig Your Grave" On Sound On The Sound
"In four short songs The Pharmacy cover a lot of ground in the garage. “Dig Your Grave” will have you simultaneously wanting to thrash and twist. "Pines" is a light cotton-candy confection until a slicing guitar solo really satisfies the sweet tooth. Instrumental "Lazy Bones" is a doped up slow dance, making out in the corner as you sway a step behind the rhythm. And EP-ender "Burn All Yr Bridges," a demo from the band’s time in New Orleans, sleepily seethes about Seattle from afar with equal parts beauty and bitterness." Listen to "Dig Your Grave" now here.

Vice Premieres The Pharmacy's "Dig Your Grave" Video!
"The song manages to be incredibly catchy while remaining oddly hostile. Imagine what the British Invasion would have sounded like if the aggression been literal. In the video, the trio (which also features Stefan Rubicz and Scottie Yoder) murder a woman in a grainy graveyard and perform, clad in face paint and white robes, against a hellscape of burning amps and drum sets. It’s all shot on 16mm film and has a creepy, ghostly quality to it." Read Vice's full run down on The Pharmacy's video.

The New Yorker Previews The Pharmacy's January 28th Brooklyn Show
"The Pharmacy is an off-kilter ensemble from Seattle that has gained notoriety in warehouses and house parties across the country. Their music is frank, party-oriented garage rock, but it’s mostly an excuse to get the trio out on the road; you’d be hard pressed to find another group as firmly committed to rock and roll as a way of life, and they boast a transnational faction of female devotees to prove it." Impose Magazine Gives The Pharmacy's "Dig Your Grave" A Listen
"The first two songs from the EP are pure sunny garage rock with quite a bit of energy as well. The b-side consists of an earlier demo and an acoustic song from the band's time in New Orleans. It is of the less rambunctious variety, making it akin to whichever side of a yin yang symbol is black." Listen now on Impose.

Self-Titled Magazine Catches Up With The Pharmacy
"A bit of classically inspired piano here, a cello melody there…it’s like they’ve matured or something. The growth in the band’s ambition suits them well—see also: their Stoned & Alone LP, due out later this year through Park the Van—as they make sure the focus remains on Scottie Yoder’s infectious vocal whine and the fuzzy interplay between the rhythm section." Read up on The Pharmacy and watch their video for "WAYDWYL" on Self-titled magazine here.
