"Two very different brothers from New Jersey making experimental pop/post-folk/noise-rock that’s both arty and organic. Better than pretentious trash-art/sound-collage masturbation but still genuinely ambitious, this shit is all over the place, at times electrified and at others barely audible (often within the same track). A lot of it manages to be immediately catchy, though, even if all of the pieces never fit neatly together, which is, I think, definitely on purpose. Missed their show last week in St. Pete; it would’ve been interesting to see how this stuff would translate live."
