BOAT JAMS: MAY I SUGGEST SOME?

Happy Monday, friends. Might I suggest that you start your week off by listening to a few of the tremendous tracks off of BOAT's upcoming "Setting The Paces" (Magic Marker, 10-27)? You can listen to "Prince of Tacoma", "Lately" or "We've Been Friends Since 1989" right here:

ALSO, THIS JUST IN ABOUT BOAT'S RECORD RELEASE SHOW 10-22 at Neumos in Seattle: D. Crane is making a set. If you've ever seen the man's handiwork, you are pumped. From the band's mouth:

"The garage is stocked with paint, cardboard, diet soda, glue, and scissors. BOAT is planning a grand record release show at Neumo's on October 22nd, with the Pale (Cam from the Pale mixed the new LP) and Sirens Sister. It will be a stage show, and feature a stage set, as well as special guests, and surprises. It is not to be missed."
